Run ten fixed prompts three times each on four AI engines, memory off and region set, then report how often you are named and which pages shaped the answer.
Record each competitor fact as one row with its source URL, the date you checked it, a status, an owner and a review date, before it reaches sales.
Scope competitor research before collecting. Name the decision, list the competitors, rank sources, set a freshness cutoff and record where each fact came from.
Decide what a battlecard may say when two competitor sources disagree or a verified claim has aged: normalize, rank, show both or withhold, set a recheck date.
Sort competitors into direct, adjacent, in-house and status-quo buckets from your own lost deals, give each a monitoring priority, and drop the noise.
Open the cited page, find the sentence that states the fact, check its date, and hold back what fails. One fixed check for competitive claims from an AI answer.
Eight signals that a competitor is in a deal, the blind spot in each, what a Gong tracker can and cannot see, and three ways a mention-rate report misleads.

Compare two dated pricing snapshots with Claude, check the terms and arithmetic yourself, and give sales a note plus a short menu of responses.
Use an illustrative starter template for solo competitive intelligence: 3–6 competitors, standing questions, a weekly hour, one note and a named reader.
Sort a cheaper-competitor objection into one of four kinds with a single question, then answer it with one of five talk tracks. None opens with a discount.
Skip the ROI multiple. Report competitive win rate on comparable deals, card use in won versus lost deals, and response time, with a dummy worked example.
A labeled walkthrough from calendar invite, past emails and a pasted LinkedIn profile to one checked brief, and where a manual chat stops being monitoring.
Capture a seller’s objection, check the disputed claim, approve a scoped revision, and return the new battlecard with its evidence and open questions.
Use one concise card per objection: a one-sentence answer, one dated proof point and the likely rebuttal. Then test the format with sellers.
