Provenance policy

Every claim, with its receipt

The short version: public-web sources, checked daily, a citation on every claim, and an honest “we can't see that” when we can't. The longer version:

01

Where the data comes from

Public-web sources only: competitor websites and pricing pages, public changelogs and launch pages, public LinkedIn company activity, public review platforms, and news. Sources are checked daily. We do not access anything behind a login, paywall, or NDA, and we do not accept leaked material.

02

How citations work

Every claim in every answer carries the URL it was found at and the date it was observed there. The citation travels with the answer into whatever you make from it (a deck, a battle card, an email) so anyone downstream can check the trail. If a source disappears, the citation still records where and when the observation was made.

03

What we say when we can't see

If our pipeline has no coverage on a competitor or a source type, the answer says so explicitly instead of filling the gap with a model's guess. An honest blank beats a confident fabrication, that rule is enforced in the product, not just promised here.

04

Using it in your materials

Facts observed on the public web (a price, a feature list, a published review) may be cited in your decks and battle cards like any public information. Keep the citation with the claim; that's what makes it defensible in the room. Nothing we serve is confidential information of the companies observed.

05

Anonymization

Any aggregate or live-usage surface we publish (counters, feeds, examples) is anonymized: no customer names, no queried-competitor names tied to a customer, no query text attributable to anyone. Illustrative samples on this site are labeled as illustrations until real, consented output replaces them.

06

Questions

If your legal or security team needs more than this page, write to support, a real person answers, and we'd rather over-explain than have you guess.
